In Thassos, a northern Aegean Sea Greek Island, there is a natural sea lagoon, like a natural swimming pool, covered by rocks called Giola. A place where the water is a little bit warmer than the sea, and though the access might be a little difficult, the experience is unique because its not a common tourist destination.

Its located close to the coast of Thrace and geographically speaking, it is part of Macedonia. The only way to access this curious natural phenomenon, one must drive a dirt road for approximately  3-4 km and then walk a little bit more.

Now, get a sneak peek on what you can find in the island with this video made by Alex Flueras in 2013.
