Herman and Candelaria Zapp decided to take their last road trip before starting a family. They started their journey from their hometown Argentina to go backpacking in Alaska, back in 2000. Little did they knew that their 16 month trip would turn into their new life style, traveling around the world in a vintage car for over 15 years and ongoing.
They left their comfy life in Buenos Aires to live an adventurous life in a 1928 Graham-Paige Model 610 that doubles as a home. The ultimate road trip experience.
Along the way, they have created an adventurous family with their four children. Each of their children have been born in a different country. The oldest, Pampa was born in the U.S., Tehue was born in Argentina, Paloma in Canada and the youngest Wallaby was born in Australia.
Without a schedule or a timetable, this couple has traveled through South America, United States, Alaska and Canada. They have also travel to Japan, the Philippines, Australia, New Zealand, South Korea, Malaysia, Australia, Tibet, India, Ethiopia, Egypt and South Africa, among other countries.
